    M12 Upgrade Features


    The IBM TotalStorage SAN Switch M12 (2109-M12) adds forward migration
    support to enable advanced functions on the M12 Director, with the M14
    Control Processor Blade Upgrade Kit (#3126). The upgrade kit consists of
    two M14 Control Processors and two M14 16 port 2 Gb switch blades, and is
    designed to enable the full set of advanced functions included in the
    latest release of IBM TotalStorage SAN Switch firmware and software. To
    complete the forward migration upgrade, all M12 Director switch blades
    must be replaced with the new 16 Port 2 Gb M14 Switch Blade (#3226).
