    Warranty Extension Options (2032-C40)


    McDATA products, resold by IBM, come with a 13-month, from date of
    shipment, 24x7, same day, on-site warranty provided by McDATA. Several
    optional features (#7xxx) are available for extending McDATA's warranty
    on the hardware and the various software components for up to a maximum
    warranty period of five years. These warranty extension features can be
    ordered with the initial Director or Switch, or added as an MES, provided
    the Director is still under warranty. Once the warranty period has
    expired, additional maintenance options are available directly from
    McDATA.

    To extend service maintenance beyond the first-year software warranty,
