These features are used to order a dial-up modem (#120x) for
remote support on the DS6800 system, , as an alternative to Virtual
Private Network (VPN) over the internet. The dial-up modem is an
external modem that is directly installed and connected through
a Storage Management Console (SMC). The dial-up modem features
include a MultiTech Modem with IBM firmware (MT5600BA), a 9- to
25-pin serial adapter cable, and USB to serial converter cables.

Bulk MES ordering is available for the dial-up modem features,
numbers 120x, when ordered through AAS with Bulk Ordering feature
number 0510. Maximum orderable quantity is 99.
